Italy’s Companies and Exchange Commission (CONSOB) has announced that it has continued to block access from Italian territory to 5 more unauthorized financial websites. They include: infinity4x.io of Infinity4X, invmb.com of MBInvest, galantrade.com of Vigo and Co LLC, gladiolustox.com of Gladiolu Stox Markets Ltd, and globecfd.com of Globecfds.
CONSOB has the right to order Internet service providers (ISPs) to deny access from Italy to websites offering financial services without the Commission’s authorization. The number of websites blocked by CONSOB since July 2019 is almost 690. Most of these websites offer CFD trading in currency pairs and cryptocurrencies.
