IC Markets – Is it scam or safe?
IC Markets is licensed and regulated by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC). The ASIC license allows it to conduct financial services, including forex.
However, there are some posts in forex forums that inform about fake positive reviews and difficulties in withdrawing money.
So far, we haven’t received any complaints from clients of ICMarkets.com.

IC Markets have very bad service. I sent many emails informing them I cannot open trades for the last two days. No reply at all or answer in their live chat/ I don’t lik this. And another problem – I wanted to withdraw money but no one answered my request last two weeks. I can confirm this is not an honest broker. Beware of this broker!
I choose IC Markets after I tried some other brokers previously. I fed my account with large amount to trade. I seemed I was wrong! This isn’t the right broker. They changed the leverage each day! Why? I was told abbot the tricks that brokers use to trigger margin call but this is out of limits. Please, consider well if you want to trade with this broker. A month after I contacted them, nothing has actually changed. I hear only excuses but they don’t wnt to take the responsibility. Traders, do not waste your time and money here!
I have an account with icmarkets and it became profitable. Two weeks later in June 2017 I had nearly eur25000 and I was happy. A week later icmarkets had already made more than 100 trades in my account without my permission. Of course, these trades were unprofitable and in the end, all my profit was reduced to eur200. Then I changed the password and closed all opened positions but the new ones kept appearing. I know IC markets did the same to my friend. Fraud!
I should say there is something weird with IC Market’s mt5 platform. I started with them because there was a micro account. I noticed their spreads are so narrow so I think they could be some fishing company because most probably it may take years their spreads to be covered. Furthermore, I don’t feel secure with their platform and I can confirm about slippage.
I want my money back! Liars. They recommended me the option of their platform called 1 click trading. This tool doesn’t place stop loss orders and they haven’t mentioned this. I lost $1100 because of this. After I contacted them I was told that this option is old and they will pull it out of the platform. I made some deals with this ‘tool’ but it didn’t work properly. They said sorry but my money is still lost because of it. Moreover, they still promote it. Incompetent scammers! Stay away
I deposited &1000.00 & wanted to set up with amet 4 demo account.I tried to contact ICMarkets by phone & email without success,to operate account.Since I started it appears the &1000.00 has disappeared & I don’t know who to turn to.I have emailed ICMarkets twice without reply.
